The Sacristan makes the necessary preparations for all the church services. He has particular responsibility for the sanctuary and the sacristy. He delegates some of his duties where appropriate. The Sacristan also advises on the maintenance of the church and hall buildings and contributes to the preparation of the hall for events.

The parish is fortunate in having a fine recently built hall adjacent to the church. If the person or organisation wishing to book the hall has not done so previously, the booking may be referred to the Parish Council for approval. Parish events will be given priority use of the hall. The kitchen facilities include a microwave cooker and an electric hob, but do not include an oven. The hirer is responsible for the care of the hall and must ensure that the property is left in the same good condition as that in which it was found.
