Boys and girls who have made their first Holy Communion are eligible to be trained as altar servers. If a child is thinking of becoming an altar server his/her parent should express the child's interest to one of the priests in the first instance. After some basic preparation, arrangements will be made for the child to assist other altar servers until he or she is fully prepared and confident.
