Sacred Heart Catholic Parish Ainsdale, Southport

The parish has a thriving S.V.P. Society consisting of twelve active members and 2 unavailable at the moment.

The society visits not just those in financial need, though these are important, but also the lonely, elderly and housebound. Several nursing homes and rest homes are also visited, including Margaret Clitheroe House and Crosby House, both belonging to the Nugent Care Society in the Thomas More Centre, which lies within the parish boundary.
The society is always keen to welcome new members especially if they have previous experience of this type of church work. Members of the society can be found outside church after each Sunday Mass.
